Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced Mobile React Native Developer who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a mobile application for iOS and Android platforms. You will join a small, experienced development team, working closely with a UX Designer. The project is carried out in a 100% full-time model, primarily remotely, with the possibility of occasional trips to Helsinki. Daily tasks

• development of a mobile application using React Native / TypeScript technology,
• creating and developing functionalities for Android and iOS,
• participating in architectural decision-making and taking responsibility for technical solutions,
• integrating the application with the backend and external APIs,
• ensuring code quality and developing unit tests,
• collaborating on CI/CD processes and application deployment,
• monitoring application performance and supporting observability and production operations,
• collaborating with the project team and stakeholders in English,
• ensuring the security, availability, and high quality of the created product,
• using AI-based development support tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code,
• sharing knowledge and supporting less experienced team members.

Requirements

Very good knowledge of React Native and TypeScript, practical experience with Redux, experience in creating applications for both Android and iOS, knowledge of mobile project configuration and working with Xcode, experience with Firebase, knowledge of application publishing processes via App Store Connect and Google Play Console, experience in writing unit tests in Jest, practical knowledge of CI/CD processes, very good command of English (min. B2+/C1) - daily work is conducted in English, independence, responsibility for assigned tasks, and the ability to make technical decisions. Additional assets will be: Node.js, NestJS or Express, knowledge of REST API, experience with OAuth / JWT, knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases, experience with AWS, knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, experience in application architecture design, knowledge of issues related to observability and maintenance of production applications, experience in the areas of accessibility and security, experience working with AI tools that support programming.
