Manufacturing & Supply Chain Carve-Out Lead

Your tasks

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Carve-Out Lead to lead complex organizational carve-out projects, encompassing manufacturing plants, warehouses, and operational and system processes. The person in this position will be responsible for preparing and executing the full business separation process, ensuring operational continuity, Day-1 readiness, and minimization of business risks.

• Leading end-to-end carve-out projects and operational transformations in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain areas.
• Managing the project roadmap, schedule, risks, dependencies, and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Coordinating activities between production, logistics, warehouse, procurement, planning, finance, and IT teams.
• Ensuring the continuity of production processes, production planning, MRP, and the supply chain during organizational separation.
• Overseeing the migration of production and logistics data as well as the carve-out of ERP systems and operational support solutions.
• Coordinating activities related to SAP PP, APO/IBP, MES, and system integrations.
• Managing Day-1 readiness preparation, cutover plans, testing, and post-go-live support.
• Identifying and minimizing risks affecting production, logistics, quality, and customer service.
• Conducting workshops and collaborating with management and key business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Consulting.
• Experience in executing carve-out, divestiture, spin-off projects, or large-scale operational transformations.
• Very good knowledge of production processes, production planning, warehouse management, and the supply chain.
• Practical knowledge of SAP in the area of production and logistics (SAP PP, APO, IBP, WM/EWM).
• Experience in managing complex programs and projects involving multiple business areas.
• Knowledge of data migration and the preparation of cutover plans and production go-lives.
• Highly developed communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Very good command of the English language.

Nice to have

• Experience gained in consulting firms (Big4 or similar).
• Knowledge of MES, WMS, and APS systems.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, or APICS certifications.
