Who are we looking for? We are looking for an InSprint Tester / Quality Assurance Engineer for our team, who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivered solutions in an Agile environment. We are looking for a person with experience in software testing, very good knowledge of the German language, and the ability to cooperate with the business and development teams. Daily tasks

  • analysis of business requirements, User Stories, and acceptance criteria,
  • designing, executing, and documenting test cases,
  • performing functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests,
  • verifying the compliance of delivered functionalities with business and technical requirements,
  • reporting, analyzing, and monitoring bugs,
  • cooperation with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners,
  • active participation in Scrum ceremonies,
  • supporting the User Stories acceptance process and Definition of Done,
  • identifying quality risks and proposing improvement actions,
  • participating in the improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

Requirements

Requirements very good knowledge of the German language (C1/C2) – a mandatory condition, knowledge of the English language at a minimum B2 level, minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies, practical knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing, ability to analyze requirements and design test cases, knowledge of tools for test management and bug reporting (Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray or similar), good knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), teamwork skills, independence, and good work organization, accuracy, responsibility, and an analytical approach to problem-solving. Nice to have experience in the insurance industry, knowledge of processes related to policy servicing, claims settlement, settlements, or contract management, experience with insurance systems (INSIS, Guidewire or similar), ISTQB Foundation certificate or higher, basic knowledge of SQL, experience in API and integration testing, knowledge of tools and frameworks for test automation.
