Governance & PMO Workstream Lead
Join a strategic transformation program implemented in an international business environment. For our client, we are looking for an experienced Governance and PMO leader who will take responsibility for building and developing governance structures supporting the implementation of a complex transformation program involving multiple business areas and stakeholders. We are looking for a person who can effectively combine business, operational, and project perspectives, ensuring transparency of actions, effective risk management, and efficient decision-making at the organizational level.
Your role As Governance & PMO Workstream Lead, you will be responsible for creating and running an effective program management model. Your task will be to ensure appropriate processes, standards, and control mechanisms supporting the achievement of business goals, as well as building transparent communication between project teams, sponsors, and management. The role requires high autonomy, the ability to act in a complex organizational environment, and experience in leading transformation programs with a high degree of complexity.

Daily tasks
- leading the Governance & PMO area within the transformation program,
- defining and developing governance structures, reporting processes, and decision-making mechanisms,
- organizing and coordinating steering committees and key management forums,
- supervising program planning, progress monitoring, and milestone achievement,
- managing dependencies between workstreams and supporting the coordination of project activities,
- conducting risk, issue, assumption, and corrective action management processes,
- preparing reports and materials for program sponsors and management,
- identifying areas requiring improvement and implementing effective solutions to increase program implementation efficiency,
- supporting program leaders in decision-making by providing reliable management information,
- ensuring program activities comply with regulatory requirements, control processes, and key business deadlines,
- building a culture of accountability, transparency, and effective program management.
Requirements
Must have multi-year experience in leading Governance, PMO, or Program Management functions in large transformation programs, practical experience in designing and implementing governance structures and program control mechanisms, very good knowledge of program management, planning, reporting, and implementation monitoring, experience in managing risks, dependencies, and escalation processes, ability to cooperate with management and stakeholders at the senior leadership level, ability to independently identify problems and implement improvements in a highly complex organizational environment, very good knowledge of the English language. Nice to have experience in projects implemented in the area of taxes, finance, compliance, or regulations, knowledge of processes related to Corporate Income Tax (CIT), experience gained in advisory, consulting firms, or organizations implementing large-scale transformations, knowledge of recognized program management methodologies and standards.
