Front-End Engineer (React / TypeScript / AWS)

Your tasks

We are looking for two experienced Front-End Engineers who want to develop modern web applications using React, TypeScript, Vite, and AWS Cloudscape.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive, and accessible web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Creating scalable components and developing applications using Vite and AWS Cloudscape.
• Integrating user interfaces with REST API, including handling data, errors, authentication, and various application states.
• Collaborating with the backend team to define API contracts, resolve integration issues, and deliver comprehensive functionalities.
• Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of applications running in AWS, including analysis of logs, configurations, and connections between services.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, technical discussions, and solution design processes.
• Ensuring code quality, security, readability, and maintainability.
• Collaborating in an agile team and participating in CI/CD processes and application deployment.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with strong front-end competencies who also understand the basics of backend operations and the AWS environment. We are looking for engineers capable of not only creating intuitive and efficient user interfaces but also integrating them with REST API, collaborating with backend teams, and diagnosing basic problems in applications running in the cloud.

Our expectations

• Several years of commercial experience in creating web applications, with a particular focus on the front-end.
• Very good knowledge of React and TypeScript and practical experience in building production applications.
• Practical knowledge of Vite and AWS Cloudscape.
• Experience in integrating applications with REST API and understanding the principles of communication between the front-end and backend.
• Good knowledge of component design, responsiveness, accessibility, and principles of creating maintainable front-end architecture.
• Basic knowledge of backend and inter-service integration.
• Basic knowledge of AWS and the ability to diagnose problems related to logs, configuration, and service communication.
• Knowledge of version control systems, CI/CD processes, and basic DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of clean code principles, automated testing, and secure software development.
• Ability to collaborate with a technical team and clearly communicate technical issues.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Higher technical education, e.g., in computer science or engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in testing front-end applications and knowledge of unit and end-to-end testing tools.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility standards, including WCAG.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services used for hosting, monitoring, and maintaining web applications.
• Experience in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms in applications and APIs.
• Knowledge of good practices for application monitoring and analyzing problems in production environments.
