PhD students employed through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie program receive a salary in accordance with the program's rules for PhD students during the fellowship period (36 months). This means that the gross salary (i.e., after deduction of employer contributions but including income tax) amounts to approximately 37,000 SEK per month, depending on the exchange rate (excluding any family allowance). The employee's national and local taxes will be deducted from this gross salary before the net salary is paid to the PhD student. At the end of the project, an additional salary payment may occur if the average exchange rate during the entire project is higher than the estimated exchange rate.
During the remaining time of the studies, you will be employed on a standard PhD contract, with a salary according to the agreed salary scales for PhD students plus a salary supplement of 1,800 SEK/month.
