Point-to-Point Technician

UpperLine is hiring Point-to-Point Technicians to verify and commission building management systems in data centers and commercial facilities, including the mechanical and electrical systems that keep them running. We design, program, and deploy Building Management Systems (BMS) that control HVAC, electrical, and other infrastructure in commercial, institutional, and data center facilities. What You Get $55,000–$90,000/yr, based on experience Overtime eligible, even as a salaried position All travel expenses covered 401(k) with company match Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off What You'll Do Perform point-to-point verification and commissioning of BMS/DDC controls on: Mechanical systems: chillers, boilers, water pumps, air handlers, packaged units Electrical systems: UPS, switchgear, generators Set up, program, and commission BMS/DDC systems (Carrier, Siemens, Automated Logic, and others) Load and validate control programs and graphics using manufacturer software Configure IP and BACnet MS/TP networks for field devices and controllers Troubleshoot communication loops, controllers, and input/output devices Work with project managers and engineers to make sure control sequences meet design intent Document device addressing, panel labeling, and network topology Provide remote support via VPN, cloud portals, or mobile tools when needed What You Bring 2+ years with BMS/DDC systems in a technician or integration role Experience with software-based commissioning tools (Carrier, ALC WebCTRL, Siemens Desigo, or similar) Working knowledge of BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and other communication protocols Comfortable using laptops, configuration tools, and digital test equipment on site Understanding of control sequences, analog/digital I/O, and network architecture Ability to apply mechanical and electrical theory to verify proper system operation Ability to read MEP and control drawings Strong documentation habits Willingness to travel Nice to Have Data center or mission-critical experience AutoCAD or Visio Microsoft Office Professional communication with clients and trade partners How to Apply Email your resume to CAREERS@UPPERLINEINC.COM with "Point-to-Point Technician – Your Name" in the subject line.
