Systems and Process Analyst

We are assisting our client from a Healthcare group to look for a System and Process Analyst to be part of their Laboratory team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse laboratory workflows, reporting processes, and system capabilities to identify requirements for NEHR onboarding and HIA compliance.
• Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and system requirements in collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.
• Perform process mapping and gap analysis to assess current-state workflows against NEHR and regulatory requirements and recommend process improvements where applicable.
• Review and validate laboratory test mappings, result structures, terminology, and coding standards to ensure alignment with NEHR specifications and clinical requirements.
• Work closely with vendors and application teams to translate business requirements into system enhancements and implementation solutions.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on laboratory operations, workflows, interfaces, and downstream systems.
• Develop and execute test strategies, test scenarios, and validation plans to ensure successful onboarding and data accuracy.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), analyse test outcomes, manage defects, and facilitate issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Validate that laboratory results submitted to NEHR are accurate, complete, clinically appropriate, and compliant with submission requirements.
• Support governance and approval processes by preparing business documentation, validation evidence, onboarding artefacts, and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor onboarding progress, identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and recommend mitigation plans to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
• Support HIA readiness activities, including compliance tracking, audit preparation, governance documentation, and implementation of Cybersecurity and Data Security (CS/DS) requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement review sessions with external stakeholders and internal teams.
• Prepare project status reports, implementation updates, compliance dashboards, and management presentations.
• Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NEHR onboarding processes and regulatory compliance capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Biomedical Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Diploma holders with relevant healthcare IT experience may also apply.
• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare IT, business analysis, clinical systems, LIS, or healthcare operations.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, system implementation, UAT, and defect management.
• Experience working withend‑users, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Exposure to LIS, EMR, HIS, or NEHR projects is an advantage.
