Side job / Long-term assignment - Teach English in Örebro

Now Upgrades is looking for an independent and committed language coach for two group assignments in Örebro.

The start date for the assignment is April 1st through September, with the chance of extension. There are a total of two groups with ten students each at an upper beginner level. It is five hours of teaching per group, i.e., a total of ten hours per week. The lessons are scheduled in the mornings in central Örebro. The focus of the content shall be on pronunciation and oral communication, with Portuguese as the preferred language of instruction.

Requirements:

• Unhindered knowledge of English
• Good understanding of English grammar and phonetics
• Great passion for the language's structure and variation
• Genuine interest in teaching

Previous teaching experience is desirable, but not a requirement. It is a merit if you speak Portuguese.

Your tasks include independently planning and tailoring the lessons. We are looking for someone who is creative and can adapt the content of your teaching to the participant's level, purpose, and learning technique. You always put the participants at the center and are good at creating a safe and supportive environment. We place great emphasis on quality and continuity.
