Embedded Software Test and Validation Engineer M/F - Unseenlabs

As part of the development of our payloads and the co-design of our satellites, you will join our embedded software team and report to a Technical Leader.

Your main mission will be to support the team in the design, development, and operational maintenance of testing means, the software test chain, and the scripts necessary for validation campaigns.

You will also participate in defining the test strategy, executing validation campaigns, and analyzing results.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in the development of a test strategy for our payloads
• Participating in the development of a payload test plan (E2E)
• Developing and maintaining the software and scripts necessary to perform E2E testing activities
• Analyzing and documenting the results of E2E validation campaigns
• Preparing testing means and their software configuration to ensure the smooth running of validation campaigns
• Supporting investigations by the Industrialization team and the internal team on any question related to the use of test scripts

Profile:

• Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or Master's, specializing in embedded systems, radio frequencies, or an equivalent field.
• More than 3 years of experience in setting up software-driven test benches and conducting validation campaigns.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and Bash languages, as well as embedded Linux environments.
• Good knowledge of radio frequencies, Command & Control systems, and associated testing means.
• Experience with communication buses and embedded networks such as CAN, SpaceWire, or UART.
• Mastery of CI/CD tools and practices, automation, and the development of test chains.
• Analytical skills, writing and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, team spirit, and professional English.
