UNMUTE is looking to expand our creative team with a passionate and driven Content Producer Intern who is eager to explore the world of social media content creation and video production.
Your tasks
You'll work closely with our production team to bring creative ideas to life, from brainstorming content concepts and preparing for shoots to assisting with on-set production.
1. On-Set Production Assistance — Main Scope
- Assist the production team during video shoots for various brands and social media campaigns
- Support with setting up and handling production equipment, props, and other shoot requirements
- Assist producers and videographers in ensuring shoots run smoothly and efficiently
- Provide support in coordinating talents and managing on-set requirements
- Gain hands-on exposure to professional video production workflows
2. Content Ideation — Main Scope
- Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas for social media platforms
- Research current trends, content formats, and audience preferences
- Contribute ideas for short-form videos, campaigns, and other social media content
- Participate in creative discussions and help turn ideas into executable concepts
3. Pre-Production & Logistics — Main Scope
- Assist in planning and coordinating upcoming video shoots
- Prepare props, products, equipment, and other production requirements
- Support talent sourcing, location arrangements, and shoot scheduling
- Assist with preparing shot lists, scripts, and other pre-production materials
- Ensure necessary preparations are completed before shoots
4. Videography & Post-Production
- Learn the fundamentals of camera operation, composition, and lighting
- Gain opportunities to film content under the guidance of experienced videographers
- Learn basic video editing techniques and workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Assist with organising footage and preparing video assets for post-production
- Develop a better understanding of the full video production process
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with content producers, videographers, editors, and designers
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative discussions
- Support the production team across different projects when required
- Stay updated with social media trends and contribute fresh creative ideas
Requirements
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, hands-on, and eager to learn, with opportunities to develop practical skills in videography and video editing under the guidance of experienced industry professionals.
- Currently pursuing or holding a Diploma in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong interest in content creation and video production
- Creative, proactive, and willing to contribute ideas
- Organised and responsible, with good time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Willing to learn, take initiative, and adapt to different production requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Prior professional experience is not required. We welcome individuals who are passionate about content creation and eager to develop their skills.
