PERFORMANCE OF TASKS AND DUTIES IN THE SERVICE OF SURGICAL NURSING CARE

Planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care process for life-threatening patients, predominantly in the higher to highest categories of nursing care demand; performing tasks and duties in areas - units specifically equipped for monitoring, measuring, supervising, and maintaining vital functions, where constant supervision is required, as well as planning and coordinating patient transfer or discharge; organizing, leading, and supervising nursing care and support activities and cooperating in the treatment process within the healthcare team and competencies; cooperating in multidisciplinary teams; performing and cooperating in the implementation of diagnostic-therapeutic interventions and procedures; health education work with patients and relatives; performing activities to ensure and continuously improve the quality and safety of patient treatment; patient handover at all levels; performing procedures to prevent the spread of hospital infections; mentoring; other tasks within professional competencies; performing other work as ordered by a superior.

REQUIRED CONDITIONS

• License for independent performance of work in nursing activities for the profession of graduate nurse
• Knowledge of at least one world language
• Communication skills – written and oral expression
• Accuracy and responsibility
• Psychophysical stability
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work and make decisions
• Empathy towards patients, their relatives, and companions
• Manual dexterity
