This role will allow you to take initiative in making decisions, solving problems and exercising sound judgement within the parameters of your position, while ensuring the Executive is always appropriately briefed.  To be successful in this role you will be a seasoned Executive Assistant with a flair for relationship building, possess a passion for working proactively and providing administrative support across multiple layers of the university. Main skills/experience required: High level organisational and relationship management skills Ability to work without supervision while prioritising, filtering and referring key issues that affect the portfolio to the Executive The capacity to work collaboratively and persuasively within the diverse University community Advanced computer skills including demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications, in particular  Microsoft Word Excellent people skills, being a comfortable communicator across a range of organisational levels, both internally and externally with key University stakeholders.  An excellent command of the English language Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated ability to manage confidentiality at all times  Knowledge of, and commitment to, EEO principles.

·         Experience in a similar senior executive assistant role. ·         Demonstrated ability to manage confidentiality at all times. ·         Strong customer service skills, including in a culturally diverse environment. ·         Experience in working in a planning/facilitating role in a team environment and meeting objectives.

Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $77,656 to $85,691 pa (HEW 6) This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
