Lab Technician

Prepare appropriate quantity of materials/supplies for lab experiments/projects in a timely manner.

Build prototypes or perform experiments as per the lab supervisor directions.

Prepare and replace lab equipment as per the lab supervisor’s directions.

Assists student in project manufacturing when required by faculty members.

keeps storeroom organized, tidy and clean all the time.

keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste

prepare stock reports as per the lab supervisor directions.

Following the supervisor’s directions during operation in the labs.

Associate degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (Certificate of Industrial High School).

1-3 years of practical experience of Engineering workshop practice, gained either in an academic or an industrial environment.

Expert in sheet metal shaping

Expert in welding

Can work in woodshop
