RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ANR ENUMINE project (2025-2028) fosters a dialogue between information and communication sciences, management sciences, and legal sciences to improve the legal framework for the protection of minors in the digital environment. You will conduct your work within the framework of Work Package (WP) 4, under the supervision of Tanja PETELIN. The objective of this WP is to formulate, based on the results of the interdisciplinary work conducted within the project, proposals intended to guide public authorities. Your mission will be to analyze the various legal pathways for protecting minors in the digital space, in coherence with the perspective of their empowerment. Furthermore, you will be fully involved in the collective scientific production of the project and will contribute to the drafting of interdisciplinary reports on current issues, as well as to the design and organization of the project's scientific events. You will work in a team, as part of an interdisciplinary consortium of researchers from the universities of Poitiers and Paris 8. You will be in contact with institutions involved in protecting the interests of minors in the digital environment. Main activities:

  • Systematic literature review and bibliographic synthesis
  • Research in European Union law and comparative analysis of the legislation of different EU Member States or third countries
  • Legal monitoring of ongoing legislative initiatives
  • Analysis of the activity of EU and Member State regulators
  • Drafting of scientific articles presenting the results of these studies
  • Drafting of reports within the framework of the project
  • Participation in the coordination of the consortium and its collective work: organization of meetings, seminars, and the final international colloquium
  • Support for the organization and preparation of the funding file for the final colloquium
  • Co-supervision of interns and students involved in the project
  • Valorization and dissemination of work: project website, deposit on HAL, newsletter, Canal-U
  • Preparation of communication materials for institutional and associative partners

REQUIRED PROFILE:

You hold a doctorate in law or political science and wish to develop applied research on the protection of minors in the digital environment, at the heart of an interdisciplinary ANR project.

  • Education: doctorate (BAC+8) in law or political science, with a strong interest in digital law and/or regulation.
  • Legal skills: excellent ability to analyze digital law, European Union law, economic law, consumer law, and regulation.
  • Research and writing: strong writing skills, ability to publish and valorize research work (articles, reports, synthesis notes).
  • Languages: mandatory mastery of written and spoken English; mastery of other languages is an asset.
  • Soft skills: aptitude for working in an interdisciplinary team, rigor, autonomy, organizational skills.
  • Mobility and teleworking: availability for occasional travel; activities partially eligible for teleworking within the framework of the University charter.
