European Project Manager (M/F)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of CAP Europe, the project manager is in charge of the operational management of the European projects in their portfolio. They will support the scientific, pedagogical, or technical leads of the projects in order to coordinate administrative and financial actions and ensure the successful completion of deliverables. They will thus ensure financial security and advise the lead throughout the implementation period of these projects. ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES:
- Ensure the interface between scientific, pedagogical, and/or technical teams with all internal and external structures of the university involved in the implementation and monitoring of projects; act as a proactive proposer to all stakeholders;
- Coordinate the operational aspects of projects: administrative, financial, and budgetary, deliverables, in collaboration with all relevant university components and directorates;
- Animation of partner consortia; information management with and between partners; development and provision of tools necessary for monitoring consortium activities; participation in national, community, and international meetings, organization of various meetings (consortium meetings, workshops, training, etc.);
- Ensure compliance with the obligations described in the contractual documents, deadlines, and the establishment's rules;
- Contribute to the drafting of activity reports and the development of non-scientific/pedagogical/technical deliverables;
- Ensure internal and external communication regarding the projects;
- Management of internal software for precise budgetary control and monitoring of projects (SIFAC+, SINCHRO);
- Ensure and contribute to the implementation of a quality approach in activity management: monitoring key performance indicators; management and optimization of internal tools dedicated to the operational monitoring of projects and the service, production of reports.
- To these activities, the following activities may be added, depending on project needs:
- Conduct research and contracting for co-financing and partnerships;
- Contribute to the formalization of new internal working procedures within the university.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of European institutions and community regulations;
- Knowledge of Higher Education and the French and European research and higher education ecosystem;
- Knowledge of European funding programs for research, training, and international cooperation;
- Knowledge of project management methodologies;
- Essential knowledge of written and spoken English (consolidated B2/C1).

PREREQUISITES / Desired TRAINING:
- Have initial experience in an equivalent position and/or be a graduate in project management / project management with a minimum of Bac +3
JOB SPECIFICITIES / CONSTRAINTS:
- Remuneration: between €1944.5 gross monthly and €2244.5 gross monthly depending on experience
- Employment contract: 37h30 weekly
- Leave: 49 annual days (based on 37h30)
