Study Coordinator (m/f/d) ENT
The Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) combines international top-level research with interdisciplinary patient care. We are the only maximum care provider and the largest employer in the state. Our approximately 17,500 employees ensure highly individualized care - indispensable for the people in Schleswig-Holstein. We, the Study Center, are a central component of the Clinic for Ear, Nose, and Throat, Phoniatrics, and Pediatric Audiology at the UKSH Campus Lübeck. We are responsible for study coordination and documentation. In addition to planning, implementation, and evaluation, this includes the protocol-compliant administration of medication under the supervision of a principal investigator, as well as the preparation and accompaniment of patient rounds, study initiations, monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections. Our focus is on patient-oriented, clinical research on cancers in the head and neck area, rhinological research, and research in the field of hearing rehabilitation. Accordingly, we offer various national and international registration and therapy optimization studies to drive the development of new, individual, and even more effective treatment methods and to be able to offer our patients innovative therapy options.

What awaits you:
- Collaboration in the Study Center of the Clinic for ENT, Phoniatrics, and Pediatric Audiology with the opportunity to shape organizational and personnel structures, including budget planning and controlling, financial accounting, contract management, and reporting
- Participation in high-level studies of national and international research in accordance with the AMG + MPG
- Close and collegial cooperation with outpatient and ward staff, study physicians, as well as external partners and communication with other specialist departments such as laboratory, nuclear medicine, radiology, and pharmacy
- Support of study physicians during study visits (data collection, ECG, blood sampling) including preparation and follow-up of study visits (e.g., processing of blood samples, compilation of essential documents) as well as support for the team in creating study documents (for source data) and preparation and accompaniment of monitorings/audits/inspections
- Study preparation: including feasibilities/pre-study visits/compilation of essential documents, transfer of data into electronic databases (eCRF) and coordination and monitoring of logistics regarding study material (e.g., reordering of laboratory material)
What you bring with you:
- Completed training, ideally in a healthcare profession, preferably health care/nursing or MFA
- Desirable would be experience in the field of oncology and in the conduct of clinical studies (incl. GCP course certificate) as well as further training as a Study-Nurse (120 hours)
- Willingness for comprehensive engagement with the quality requirements within the framework of clinical studies
- Good PC skills, MS Office, English skills, proficient handling of English-language documents/study protocols/correspondence
- The ability to approach patients openly, work according to schedule, good organizational and communication skills, teamwork skills, as well as a committed, independent, reliable, careful, and goal-oriented way of working
