Scientific Doctoral Student (m/f/d) (Biologist)

We are looking for an excellent and highly motivated scientific doctoral student (m/f/d) in the field of immunology of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) for our research laboratory.

The Tasks

• The focus of the research work is the investigation of autoantibodies in IBD patients and the evaluation of new therapy options within the framework of TRR241.

The Know-how for this

• Completed university degree in Biology, Molecular Medicine, or a related bioscience discipline
• Basic knowledge of cell culture techniques and fundamental molecular biological methods (e.g., DNA isolation, quantitative PCR, sequencing)
• High motivation, interest in the development of new methods, independent working style, and goal orientation
• Willingness to work in a team
• Good knowledge of the English language in spoken and written form and in common Microsoft Office programs

Additionally advantageous

• Experience with sterile work in cell culture
• Animal experimental professional experience (with certificate)
• Interest in modern imaging technologies and methods

Remarks:

• Intended classification according to qualification and personal requirements according to TV-L E13
• The position is temporary until the end of the project
• This is a 65% position
• Employment will take place at the earliest possible date
