The Medizinische Fakultät of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf is a leading center for research medicine. Its projects and networks in basic and clinical research are funded, among others, by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, state and federal ministries, and the EU.
For our Institut für Medizinische Soziologie/ Sektion Public Health, we are looking for at the earliest possible date a
PhD Candidate (m/f/d) Public Health
in part-time with 75% weekly working hours
The employment is initially limited to 3 years in part-time. This is a qualification position within the meaning of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG according to § 2 Para. 1).
- Development and implementation of an individual research project in the field of intervention research (Dr PH)
- Participation in the structured doctoral program of the Centre for Health and Society (CHS)
- Presentation of own research results at specialist conferences and publication in international peer-review journals
- Successfully completed university degree in health sciences, Public Health, social sciences, sports science, psychology, or epidemiology (Master's level)
- Experience in the development of interventions for health promotion
- Sound knowledge of quantitative methods with a common statistical analysis program (SPSS, STATA, R etc.)
- Experience in the field of qualitative evaluation
- A structured working style and very good communication skills
- Very good English skills
- 28.875 weekly working hours

Remuneration is according to TV-L in pay group 13, taking into account all previous experience in accordance with the collective agreement regulations.
