Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

We are looking for an employee to support various scientific projects in our central research facility. The field of activity includes state-of-the-art cell and molecular biological techniques in translational research. As a central research facility under the scientific leadership of Prof. Dr. Sascha Dietrich and Prof. Jörg Distler, we investigate the effect of drugs on tumor cells and healthy cells as well as their interaction in tissue. This primarily includes drug assays in high-throughput processes using automated pipetting applications and analytical methods. Processing and examination of primary samples in the direct translational context of functional precision medicine Cell biological work, especially cell culture of primary tumor cells Coordination of the maintenance, repair, and care of laboratory equipment Preparatory laboratory activities and administrative activities, e.g., ordering / inventorying

Completed training as BTA/CTA (Chemisch-Technische/r Assisten/in)/MTL Experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility is an advantage Sound experience in cell culture Practical experience in laboratory work and in handling technical devices Conscientious and careful working and documentation of results Good IT skills (MS Office) Fluent English skills Teamwork skills Organizational skills
