Study Nurse / Study Assistant (m/f/d)

In the Sektion Operative Intensivmedizin der Klinik für Anästhesiologie und operative Intensivmedizin of the Universitätsklinik Bonn, the following position is to be filled in part-time (up to 80%) at the earliest possible date:
Study Nurse / Study Assistant (m/f/d)
Due to the duration of the study, the position is initially limited until 31.01.2029 with the option for extension.
The tasks of the Sektion Operative Intensivmedizin include intensive care medical treatment, student teaching, the training of medical staff and nursing staff, and clinical research in the field of operative intensive care medicine.
This also includes participating in, conducting, and further developing prospective intervention and observational studies within the framework of the third-party funded Studien Netzwerk Intensivmedizin within the Netzwerk Universitätsmedizin.
Your tasks:
- Co-supervision of innovative clinical studies according to GCP, AMG, and MPG
- Support in selecting suitable study patients (screening, recruitment, consent)
- Organization, coordination, and administration of study documents
- Communication with cooperation partners
- Planning of patient appointments, care of study participants
- Performance of simple physical examinations (blood pressure, pulse, ECG) and, if necessary, study-relevant laboratory collections
- Use of common MS-Office programs as well as use of study documentation software, eCRF entries
Your profile:
- Training as a healthcare professional / medical assistant (m/f/d) or a comparable medical education
- Additional qualification as a Study Nurse
- Previous experience in conducting clinical studies is desirable
- Confident handling of a PC
- Interest in clinical studies and other research projects
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and initiative
- Empathy and professionalism in dealing with patients
- English language skills (written and spoken) are mandatory
