The Department of Management Control is part of the Mercator School of Management (MSM) of the UDE. The MSM combines the identification power of the region with a strong international orientation and top-level economic research. Our department works at the interface of corporate management and controlling. Research focuses on the use of Artificial Intelligence (KI) in corporate and controlling practice, the design of incentive systems, and the role of top managers (CEOs and CFOs) for the strategic transformation of companies. We are internationally networked and cooperate closely with corporate practice as well as other leading researchers in the fields of strategy and controlling.
The advertised position is integrated into a project funded by the BMFTR on the topic of "KI-supported assessment of investments in climate adaptation." You can expect diverse and exciting tasks:

Your Key Responsibilities
- You will participate in the research of the chair in the field of climate adaptation and KI and support a research project funded by the BMFTR.
- You will manage the research project organizationally and coordinate the exchange with industry partners.
- You will support administrative tasks within the framework of the project.
- You will present and discuss research projects at international conferences.
- You will publish research results in scientific specialist journals.
Your Profile
- above-average completed Master's degree in the field of economics (e.g., BWL, VWL, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, or Wirtschaftspsychologie)
- great interest in the aforementioned research areas
- strong analytical skills and a high degree of curiosity
- high endurance and energy
- very good English skills
