Linux Systems Administrator

At UTEL university, we are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator responsible for guaranteeing the availability, performance, and security of the technological infrastructure, ensuring the correct functioning of services and servers in accordance with the business service levels.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and management of Linux servers
• Implementation and migration of services in Linux environments.
• Infrastructure administration in AWS and/or Rackspace
• Security management in servers and services.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
• Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans
• Documentation of processes and activities.
• Support and incident resolution

Requirements:

Systems Engineering or related career Minimum of 3 years of experience. Linux systems administration Experience in:

• AWS and Rackspace
• Nginx and Apache
• Mail servers
• MySQL databases
• VPN
• Moodle (desirable)

Knowledge in networks, security, and networking. Programming in Bash English (basic to intermediate level)

Working Conditions

Modality: On-site Availability to cover operation from 7:00 to 22:00 hrs (rotated) Days off: Saturday and Sunday Salary: $36,000.00 gross Fixed amount $32,000.00 gross, variable $4,000.00 gross Statutory benefits, plus additional ones. Work zone: Naucalpan, Edo. México
