PMO Direction

At Universidad EAFIT, we are looking for a person to take charge of the PMO Direction to lead the formulation, prioritization, governance, and methodological accompaniment of the institutional portfolio of strategic projects, including digital transformation initiatives, strategic institutional projects, and large investment projects, among others, in accordance with institutional guidelines, to ensure their alignment with the institutional strategy, optimize resource allocation, strengthen execution capacity, and ensure value generation for the University. Main responsibilities: Define and lead the institutional model for strategic portfolio and project management. Design and manage the institutional portfolio of strategic projects. Lead the prioritization, balancing, and monitoring of the institutional portfolio of strategic projects. Establish methodological guidelines, standards, tools, and governance mechanisms for strategic project management. Propose and implement improvements to the portfolio management model, methodologies, tools, and governance mechanisms. Verify and report the realization of benefits from completed strategic projects and the portfolio's contribution to institutional objectives. Among others. Apply for this challenge if... Professional with a postgraduate degree (preferably Master's) in Project Management, MBA, Strategic Management, Innovation. Between 8 and 10 years of professional experience. Specifically at least 5 years leading: PMO, Strategic Portfolios, Corporate Programs, Project Governance, and Multidisciplinary Teams. Desirable experience in: Higher education. Strategic consulting.

You have knowledge in: Portfolio, program, and project management. Financial management of projects. Predictive, Agile, and hybrid frameworks. Organizational change management (Prosci, Kotter, or equivalent). Project portfolio management maturity models (OPM3, Gartner PPM, P3M3). English B2. Required certification: PMP (PMI) or Scrum Master. Desirable certifications in portfolio management: PfMP (PMI) or Agile (SAFe LPM) or equivalents.
