Social Linkage and Innovation Coordinator - Tehuacán Campus
OBJECTIVE:
Design and execute institutional linkage strategies with the public, private, social, and international sectors; promoting alliances, academic mobility, and innovative projects that drive the professional development of students, entrepreneurship, and the fulfillment of institutional objectives under official protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate links with other assistance institutions for the generation of synergies and collaboration initiatives in various projects of a social and institutional nature.
- Assist and promote the strengthening of collaboration links for the substantial areas of the institution, specifically the axes of: academic, research, and university extension with the social environment and the economic-productive sector.
- Form a linkage council, with the participation of the academic, governmental, and civil society sectors, to promote the identification of demands and the development of pertinent actions from the social and productive sectors.
- Generate contact networks, through the linkage program, in different sectors of society, establishing an active and constant relationship; identifying as the official liaison between the university and the environment.
- Promote the permanent updating of the directory of public, business, and civil positions with whom there is a formal institutional link.
- Provide timely follow-up to invitations issued by the institution and received by the rector, following the protocol indicated therein, for the strengthening of the institutional relationship.
- Collaborate jointly with the directorates, coordinations, and the communication and events coordination in activities carried out with protocol, managing the necessary services for their execution and the care of the institutional image.
- Attend protocols that require the presence of the institution, providing accompaniment or representation of the general directorate or area directorates in order to ensure a recognized presence.
- Assist the alumni area in the participation of colleagues in fairs, conferences, and workshops that support students and alumni in job searching.
- Responsible for coordinating the university's participation in calls from the public or private sector to obtain economic or in-kind resources for its equipment.
- Register, control, and follow up on current collaboration agreements.
- Generate and strengthen commercial alliances with recognized brands in sectors that benefit the UVP community (benefits club) with the University Extension department.
- Position the benefits club and commercial brands through a strategic plan.
- Coordinate the entrepreneurs' academy or the one assigned by the academic development department in compliance with the scope of the institutional entrepreneurship program and the institutional mission.
- Execute the entrepreneurs' fair semiannually with a different innovation format in each version with the support of the corresponding academies, for the exhibition of innovative projects.
- Manage academic projects and/or resources in order to foster, train, and develop the student's interest in business creation.
- Regulate and maintain the use of a business simulator for entrepreneurs, through the case method and in the development of their projects on a semiannual basis.
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the high school entrepreneur center for the creation of innovative entrepreneurial projects.
- Present the results of the Personal Strategic Planning (PEP) objectives semiannually.
- Coordinate actions with academic areas, public and private organisms that promote the development of the region through projects incubated in the classroom.
- Promote alliances with the public and private sectors of the region regarding entrepreneurship in business collaboration.
- Others that are entrusted according to the nature of the position and that are assigned by their superior.
- Comply with and enforce the regulations of their area, as well as others established by the norms and regulatory provisions of the university and those disposed by the superior authority.
JOB PROFILE:
Studies: Bachelor's degree in the Economic-Administrative area, International Relations, Tourism Administration, Marketing, or related, preferably with a Master's degree.
Knowledge: In protocols, strategic planning, project management, public agenda, conflict management, generation of contact networks, evaluation and follow-up of agreements, database management and event notifications, updating of public office directories. *ICT management, Office suite, intermediate level in other languages, presence and image, ease of speech and persuasion.
Experience: 3 years in the position or in the aforementioned activities.
Age: 30 years old and up.
Preferably with a valid type A driver's license.

GROSS MONTHLY SALARY:
- Bachelor's degree $18,400.00
- Master's degree $20,800.00
- Doctorate degree $22,900.00
WORKING DAY:
Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
