Foreign Languages Academic Coordinator
Universidad del Valle de Puebla is seeking a Foreign Languages Academic Coordinator to lead the academic and administrative operation of the area, ensuring program quality, faculty development, academic student monitoring, and the fulfillment of institutional objectives.
Main responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the academic operation of foreign language programs.
- Monitor study plans and programs, didactic sequences, programmatic progress, and learning outcomes.
- Supervise, evaluate, and support teaching staff, implementing improvement actions and detecting training needs.
- Participate in teacher selection, academic load assignment, and schedule creation.
- Design and implement innovative teaching-learning strategies, assessment, and linguistic skill development.
- Provide academic monitoring for students, including evaluations, remediation, tutoring, certifications, and compliance with the graduate profile.
- Participate in curricular updating and redesign, as well as in accreditation and certification processes for academic programs.
- Prepare and monitor work plans, indicators, faculty evaluation, and academic improvement strategies.
- Teach classes, provide advisories, and tutoring within their area of expertise.
- Coordinate projects, activities, and academic events that strengthen the projection of the area and the University.
Indispensable requirements
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages, Languages, English Teaching, or a directly related field.
- Accredited C1 level English.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in higher education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coordination, academic management, or school management.
- Experience in teacher supervision and support.
- Knowledge of academic planning, evaluation, curricular design, and teaching-learning strategies.
- Proficiency in Office, TIC, and digital tools such as Gmail, Drive, Meet, and Zoom.
- Competencies in leadership, organization, communication, results orientation, and collaborative work.
- Desirable: Master's or Doctorate in Education, Languages, Language Teaching, or a related field.

Gross monthly salary:
- Bachelor's: $20,000
- Master's: $22,900
- Doctorate: $25,300
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 h and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 h.
Location: Puebla, Puebla.
