About the English Teacher role

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching and providing personalized academic attention in the English language, ensuring the development of linguistic and communicative competencies in our students. Your work will connect with our global mission, generating impact on academic excellence, the integral formation of the student, and educational quality on campus.

Your main challenges

• Teach classes in the English language, ensuring the achievement of linguistic competencies aligned with the institutional curriculum.
• Design and develop innovative didactic material that strengthens meaningful learning and active student participation.
• Provide academic advising to students on projects and assignments, boosting their performance and language mastery.
• Evaluate academic progress through instruments aligned with international standards (CEFR), guaranteeing objectivity and quality.
• Manage the classroom by promoting an environment of respect, empathy, and assertive communication that favors learning.
• Collaborate with the academy and academic coordination to ensure compliance with planning, deliverables, and institutional standards.

Profile we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree with title and professional license in: Letras Inglesas, Enseñanza del Idioma Inglés, Ciencias de la Educación with a specialty in English, or Pedagogía. Any bachelor's degree in another area + official certification in English language teaching is also considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching at the high school and/or undergraduate level.
• Certification in English language teaching with a verifiable C1 or C2 level according to the CEFR: ICELT, COTE/CELTA, DOTE/DELTA, TOEFL, FCE, CAE, PCE, IELTS, or ENALLT-UNAM.
• Mastery of the English language at an advanced level (C1/C2).
