At Laureate México, we look for talent that drives the transformation of our operation through analysis, continuous improvement, and technological innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and redesigning processes within the Nuevo Modelo Operativo program, leading high-complexity initiatives that connect different areas and systems. You will design data-driven solutions, focusing on automation, artificial intelligence, and digitalization, to improve operational efficiency and user experience, in compliance with corporate guidelines and controls.

Your main challenges

  • Gather and document current processes (As-Is), through interviews, campus observation, and data analysis, to identify improvement opportunities and establish a performance baseline.
  • Design future processes (To-Be) with standardization, automation, and self-service criteria, considering the needs and particularities of UVM and UNITEC.
  • Quantify the impact of improvements in terms of time, effort, costs, and structure, building business cases that support investment decisions.
  • Translate process designs into functional requirements, business rules, exception scenarios, and integration needs for technology teams.
  • Design and coordinate functional and user acceptance tests, following up on findings to ensure the quality of implemented solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops with corporate areas and campus teams to validate proposals, build agreements, and technically coordinate the deliverables of shared initiatives.
  • Prepare manuals, policies, and procedures, and collaborate with Change Management on training materials that enable the operation of the new model.
  • Analyze operational indicators and post-implementation results to validate benefits and promote continuous improvement.

Profile we are looking for

Indispensable requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Systems, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience as a Sr. Analyst or 4 to 5 years as a Jr. Coordinator, in process analysis and redesign, improvement projects, and system implementation or automation.
  • Experience in field gathering, formal documentation of As-Is and To-Be processes, and risk identification.
  • Knowledge of BPMN modeling, flowcharts, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to analyze cycle times, volumes, capacity, and productivity, and quantify the impact of improvements.
  • Experience in documenting functional requirements and designing user acceptance tests.
  • Advanced handling of Excel and Power BI, as well as process modeling tools such as Visio or Bizagi.
  • Intermediate English.

Desirable:

  • Specialization in Process Improvement, Data Analytics, or Project Management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
  • Familiarity with institutional systems in the educational sector, such as Banner, CRM, App-Portal, and ServiceNow.
  • Analytical capacity, problem-solving, assertive communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Creativity, results orientation, continuous learning, and adaptation to change.
