The purpose of this position is to comprehensively lead and articulate the academic, administrative, and operational management of the Language Center through strategic planning, coordination of training processes, resource management, and support for the teaching team. Likewise, it will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the foreign language training offering and associated services, ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines and current regulations, as well as continuous improvement, service quality, and the development of relevant and meaningful learning experiences, in coherence with the principles of Franciscan Humanism and the institutional mission.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the academic and administrative operation of the Language Center
• Manage the design, updating, and implementation of the foreign language academic offering
• Coordinate the management of the Language Center teaching team
• Monitor compliance with the institutional foreign language policy and graduation requirements
• Administer the financial, physical, and material resources of the Language Center
• Manage the administrative and regulatory procedures of the Language Center
• Articulate the processes of the Language Center with the different departments and institutional authorities
• Promote the development, dissemination, and positioning of the Language Center services
• Provide guidance and support to students, teachers, and other users of the Language Center

Requirements:

• University professional degree in Lenguas Modernas, Lenguas Extranjeras, Idiomas, Negocios Internacionales with communicative competence in English at level B2 or related fields
• Desirable postgraduate training in education, educational management, curriculum, foreign languages, or related areas
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in academic coordination or management, direction of programs or language centers, administration of educational processes, and leadership of teaching teams
• Advanced proficiency in the English language in accordance with the academic responsibilities of the position
• Knowledge in academic and administrative management of higher education institutions
• Competencies in curriculum design and updating, academic planning, and programming
• Management of SNIES and SIET information systems
• Experience in evaluation and certification of foreign language competencies
• Knowledge of legislation and regulations applicable to higher education, budget management, and process indicators
