AI Engineer

At CIE Lab Centro de Innovación Educativa, we are looking for an AI Tech Lead to lead the architecture and development of AI solutions applied to learning, ensuring scalability, quality, and technological sustainability.

What will you do?

• Design the unified data architecture of CIE Lab.
• Build the Knowledge Graph and develop its APIs.
• Develop the ContiLearn recommendation engine.
• Implement the RAG pipeline of the Tutor IA.
• Evaluate and select LLM models based on quality, cost, and performance.
• Define code, APIs, and repository standards.
• Technically lead the development team.
• Coordinate with Product, Data, Learning Experience, and Innovation Management.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
• Specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, recommendation systems, or data architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in Backend/AI development.
• Minimum 2 years working with LLMs, RAG, or recommendation systems in production.
• Solid experience in Python, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of LangChain/LangGraph and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with Neo4j or graph databases.
• Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Technical English.
