2026-14- Facility Engineer – Factory Utilities

Position Summary

Support the stable, safe and efficient operation of factory facilities, utility systems and auxiliary equipment, including electrical, water, compressed air, HVAC, buildings and related infrastructure. Participate in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, facility improvement and renovation projects, contractor coordination and technical documentation. The role is suitable for engineers with a strong foundation in one or more technical areas; full expertise across all facility systems is not required at entry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The duties listed below are intended only as examples of the various types of work that you may be asked to perform. 1. Support operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of factory facility and utility systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, HVAC, building MEP and related equipment.

1. Prepare, update and follow preventive maintenance plans; check maintenance records, checklists and reports; identify abnormalities and propose corrective actions.

1. Participate in installation, relocation, renovation and improvement projects for factory facilities and utilities, including site survey, technical review, contractor coordination, testing and handover.

1. Coordinate with Production, EHS, contractors, suppliers and other departments for maintenance, emergency repair, inspection, audit and project activities.

1. Maintain and update factory layouts, utility drawings, technical documents, equipment records and asset information within the FGA technical scope.

1. Support management of spare parts, maintenance materials, tools and technical assets; propose appropriate stock, purchasing and replacement plans.

1. Support development, update and implementation of technical procedures, work instructions, checklists and safety requirements for facility-related work.

1. Provide basic technical guidance and training to technicians and users on safe equipment operation, basic troubleshooting and utility-system safety when required.

1. Monitor system performance and support improvement actions to increase reliability, energy efficiency and safety while reducing downtime and operating cost.

1. Perform other related technical duties reasonably assigned by the Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities - List Teams/Groups

Technical coordination/supervision of maintenance activities, contractors and technicians when assigned. The position has no direct people-management responsibility unless otherwise designated.

Knowledge & Experience

1. 1–3 years of relevant experience in factory facilities, utilities, MEP, equipment maintenance, industrial construction/renovation or related technical work is preferred. Strong fresh graduates or junior engineers with relevant internship, project or hands-on technical experience are encouraged to apply.

1. Good technical foundation in at least one of the following areas: electrical systems; mechanical/HVAC; compressed air/water; MEP/building services; equipment maintenance; civil/industrial renovation. Knowledge of all areas is not required.

1. Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, technical documentation and industrial safety. Able to read basic English technical documents and communicate routine work-related topics in English; good English communication is an advantage.

Education, Licenses & Certification

1. College/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, HVAC/Refrigeration, Energy Engineering, Civil/Construction Engineering, MEP/Building Services or other relevant technical disciplines.

1. Able to read technical drawings. Basic AutoCAD skills for viewing, marking up or simple drawing updates are preferred; advanced AutoCAD proficiency is not required.

Work Conditions

1. 40 to 48 hours per week, Saturdays off on a rotating basic.

1. Working in the office, production area and factory utility areas.

1. Physically able to work, participate in training sessions, presentations and meetings.
