Technical Product Manager (m/f/d) – Filling and Packaging Technology (Product Owner)

We are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) for the strategic further development and management of a product portfolio in the field of industrial filling and line solutions, with a focus on glass and can applications.

The goal of this position is to align the product portfolio with future trends, identify technological developments at an early stage, and derive market-oriented solutions for international customers and applications.

What to expect from us

• Strategic further development and continuous maintenance of the product portfolio
• Conducting market, customer, and competitor analyses
• Identification of future technology and product requirements
• Development and maintenance of technology and product roadmaps
• Creation of specifications and requirement profiles
• Support of product development processes as well as research and development projects
• Coordination and further development of sales, product, and market strategies
• Observation of technological trends and derivation of corresponding product strategies
• Close cooperation with development, production, sales, and other internal specialist departments
• Interface function between the market, customers, and internal company divisions
• Leading strategic discussions and coordination with international customers
• Support in the introduction and further development of innovative product and technology solutions

What you bring to the role

• Completed degree in engineering, e.g., mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Alternatively, comparable technical training with several years of relevant professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in product management, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering, the beverage industry, or filling and packaging technology
• Sound technical understanding as well as strong economic thinking and action
• Experience in strategic product management and in the further development of technical product portfolios
• Knowledge in market, customer, and competitor analyses as well as in deriving product and technology strategies
• Experience in creating product requirements, specifications, and technology roadmaps
• Structured, analytical, and independent way of working
• Strong communication and interface competence
• Confident and professional appearance when dealing with international customers and internal specialist departments
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Teamwork skills, initiative, and a high level of customer orientation

What we offer you

• You will receive an annual salary between €78,000 and €90,000
