UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Delta level primary point of contact to the commanders/directors for all administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, drug demand reduction program, LeaveWeb, personnel/position updates via MiIPDS, PRDA, tracking/execution of military evaluations in myEval, CMS case management.
Major duties
Serves as the Delta Staff, 1 EWS, 3 STS, Det 3, 7 EWS, 23 EWS, 37 TIS, 63 CVS, and 76 EWS point of contact and liaison with the Peterson Military Personnel Flight (MPF) and Civilian Personnel Office (CPO) on numerous military and civilian personnel issues. Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated military and civilian administrative support programs. Directly assists the commanders/directors in the management of all administrative support program functions. Administers programs and serves as the primary source of the most current military regulations and policies that come down from HHQ. Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-07 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include managing and coordinating administrative support programs. Interpreting, applying and analyzing administrative policies and recommending solutions. Monitoring program requirements for compliance. NOTE: Due to the use of 120 day rosters, applicants within 120 days of completion of specialized experience requirements are encouraged to apply KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of a military organization. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs. Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for military personnel/manning issues. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
