Job Description:
- Define and setup Job flows in Control-M across multi-platform systems( Mainframe, AS/400, Unix, Windows)
- Check daily job scheduled and liaise with Vendors on incidents and problems related to Control-M
- Liaise with teams on batch job setup requirements and also work with Business units on authorized adhoc requests
- Assist in troubleshooting problems related to Control-M upon escalation
- Provide support to ensure quality and stable environment to our clients
- Create support documentation to reduce meantime to resolve issues
- Flexibility and Availability to work for production support during early morning/late eve/ night hours and weekends
- leads and manages OJS teams across IH2 and Singapore, ensuring effective delivery of enterprise-wide batch scheduling services
- Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Control M, the bank’s enterprise batch scheduling platform
- Manage staff-related maintenance, roster, and handle special project related requirements
JobRequirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or IT related field.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
- Must have Control-M Workload Automation / Job scheduling hands-on experience on Batch processing in large-scale or banking environments of at least 5 yrs and above; preferably with version 9.X
- Experience in using Control-M Utilities for AS400, Mainframe and Open Systems
- Integration experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git-based deployment of Control‑M jobs) and APIs (Control‑M Automation API is a plus)
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite of Products
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Operations Support and proactive monitoring
- Proven ability to work independently and under pressure
- Willing to extend work on weekends and as when required
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management related to batch jobs and scheduling.
- Act as L2 escalation point for critical failures and production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation, monitoring, and scheduling efficiency
