The Purchasing Department of our Villebon-sur-Yvette establishment (RER - Massy-Palaiseau) is recruiting a:

WHO ARE YOU?
Do you have an Engineering degree or equivalent Master's degree (Bac+5) with a specialty in purchasing, and at least 8 years of experience in Purchasing? Do you have an interest in electronics and, ideally, technical knowledge in this field? Have your previous positions allowed you to practice Material Requirement Planning (MRP)? Do you master SAP as well as Excel? Are you recognized for your analytical and synthesis skills and a certain leadership? Finally, does your level of English allow for professional practice in both written and oral forms?
WHAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER:
Integrated into the department and reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing production raw materials (electronic and mechanical components), consumables, and all indirect purchases for the Villebon site. For the portfolios entrusted to you, the buyer will be responsible for:
- Analyzing markets and company needs by conducting technological and economic monitoring and proactively exchanging with stakeholders,
- Sourcing, selecting, and qualifying suppliers and their products through evaluations, audits, and calls for tender, in line with UMS's objectives and technical/technological roadmap,
- Managing supplier and subcontractor panels dynamically based on their overall performance while ensuring base rationalization,
