Compliance Specialist (temporary assignment - Freelance possible)

Your tasks

• In this role, you ensure that processes and activities proceed correctly according to the applicable rules and procedures.
• You monitor regulations and ensure they are applied correctly.
• You perform controls and help to identify potential risks at an early stage.
• You advise colleagues and management on compliance-related topics.
• You work on a project basis on the implementation of new procedures and policies.
• You support audits, risk analyses, and reporting.
• You provide training and raise awareness among employees regarding compliance.
• You participate in various meetings and committees.

Who are you?

• You possess a bachelor's degree or have equivalent experience.
• You have experience within the financial sector, insurance, leasing, credit, or another regulated environment.
• Experience with audits, internal controls, or risk management is a plus.
• You enjoy working independently and in a structured manner.
• You are discreet and handle sensitive information confidentially.
• You dare to make decisions and are self-assured.
• You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an advantage.
