industrial mechanic

To keep our installations running optimally, we are looking for an industrial mechanic with a passion for mechanics and sustainable technology.

Your role:

As a mechanical technician, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of our sorting lines and technical installations.

Your tasks:

• Carrying out checks and repairs on the PRF and MRF sorting lines.
• Preparing mechanical parts in the workshop (sawing, grinding, welding, lubricating, assembling, etc.).
• Assisting with preventive maintenance: lubricating bearings, replacing wear parts, adjusting rollers, etc.
• Participating in weekly maintenance on Wednesday and Saturday mornings (every other week).
• Resolving malfunctions and breakdowns to limit downtime.
• Performing various repairs to infrastructure such as gates, barriers, racks, and forklifts.

Wie ben jij?

• Je hebt een mechanische achtergrond (lagers, reductoren, montage, ...).
• Je denkt in oplossingen en hebt oog voor veiligheid, orde en netheid.
• Routine en preventieve controles schrikken je niet af.
• Ervaring met laswerken of hydraulica is mooi meegenomen
• Je zoekt dagwerk (8u - 16u06), maar bent flexibel ingesteld. Zaterdagvoormiddag werk je in principe 1 op 2 weken en bij ernstige technische problemen ben je beschikbaar.
• Je spreekt Nederlands, Frans of Engels.
