Finance Business Partner
Key Responsibilities Serve as a strategic financial advisor to assigned business units or departments
Analyze retail sales, margins, and operational metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for retail operations, collaborating with retail management to align with strategic goals.
Evaluate cost structures, including cost of goods sold (COGS), and overhead, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock performance to optimize inventory management and reduce carrying costs.
Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support new store openings, expansions, or other retail initiatives, and support in investment decisions.
Collaborate with accounting, treasury, and other finance teams to ensure accurate financial data integration.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CMA or CFA is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in retail, consumer goods, distribution or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
