Job Title: Forklift Service Technician / Forklift Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Service Technician / Forklift Mechanic to join our company. The candidate must have relevant hands-on experience in the servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of forklifts, particularly diesel-powered forklifts.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Perform servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of forklifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, engine, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Must have good knowledge and hands-on experience with diesel engines and diesel-powered forklifts.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, repair and replacement of faulty components.
• Attend to onsite breakdowns and repair jobs when required.
• Inspect forklifts and ensure equipment is in safe and proper working condition.
• Able to troubleshoot and carry out repair work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have relevant working experience in forklift repair and maintenance.
• Hardworking, responsible, reliable and willing to perform hands-on technical work.
• Able to work in workshop and onsite environments.
• Able to handle physically demanding duties and work under pressure.
• Willing to work overtime when operationally required, in accordance with applicable employment regulations.
• Good working attitude and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Possession of a valid driving licence will be an advantage.
