Geomechanical Engineer - Underground Mining

Currently, we are looking for talent like YOU to fill the position of Geomechanical Engineer

FUNCTIONS:

• Define geomechanical parameters regarding the quality of the rock mass.
• Determine the support to be installed during the excavation advance.
• Supervise compliance with geomechanical recommendations.
• Develop training courses on geomechanics topics.
• Search for new alternatives to improve the quality of support for mine excavations.
• Lead and participate in rockfall prevention programs and topics related to occupational health and safety, environment and quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder with Professional Membership, active in Geomechanical Engineering, Geological.
• Have Specialization in Geomechanics.
• Have knowledge in Morphological Structure of terrains. Knowledge of the characteristics and studies of the rock mass and its behavior.
• Driver's license A I.
• Intermediate English.
• 6 years in design of support works with wet shotcrete, management and use of geomechanical software.
• Experience in managing indicators of square meters per cubic meter and volumetric yield.
• Ms. Excel advanced level.
