Your tasks
About the Role The primary responsibility of the QC Lab Technician to assist the Engineer & Supervisors in taking charge of the QA/QC activities especially in inspection & equipment troubleshooting and documents updates.
- Performs inspection support, including first-piece sample, in-process, and final inspections according to SOP.
- Experience in rubber mixing, QC laborotary and QC final Inspection is a added advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided.
- Conducts general maintenance or cleaning for inspection equipment.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the work area, upkeeping of equipment and assists in PM program.
- Maintains the QC documentation program.
- Follow QESH-MS Work Procedures and SOP.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Nitec & above in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably with a Chemistry or Polymer background and working experience 1-2 years in a similar industry
- Experience in rubber mixing, QC laboratory & QC final inspection will be an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of the inspection process
- Computer-literate
- Hands-on experience with the lab equipments
- Keen to work in a lab environment.
- Able to handle a mechanical machine.
- Self-disciplined, independent and responsible, meticulous and resourceful
