MUNTHE is a heritage brand that blends fashion with art. Founded in Copenhagen in 1994 by Creative Director Naja Munthe as an artistic and craft-focused alternative to the contemporary fashion industry, it has grown into an established Danish fashion house.
Art and craftsmanship are at the heart of MUNTHE’s collections. Prints play an important role in the brand’s design language, alongside carefully chosen fabrics, feminine silhouettes and attention to detail.
MUNTHE is looking for a Print Designer to join its creative team in Copenhagen and help develop the prints that are central to the brand’s identity.
MUNTHE has built a strong international presence and continues to grow from its Copenhagen headquarters.
THE ROLE
You have 3+ years of experience as a print designer in the fashion or textile industry and have worked with both digital and screen printing. You bring a strong eye for colour, composition and texture, along with a sound understanding of print production.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree from the Royal Danish Academy, Design School Kolding or a similar institution is an advantage.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Strong drawing skills, including fine line work across different media.
- Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop for developing prints, repeats and production-ready artwork.
- An understanding of fashion and how prints work within a collection.
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools to support research, concept exploration and print development.
- Curiosity about new print techniques, creative tools and emerging technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing original prints for MUNTHE’s collections.
- Creating print repeats and exploring colour combinations.
- Working closely with the design and production teams to develop prints from initial idea to final artwork.
- Preparing artwork and technical files for production.
- Reviewing and commenting on print strike-offs.
- Gathering inspiration from art, colour and trends and translating it into prints for the collections.
