Research Assistant (Study Nurse) (m/f/d)

The Clinic for General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine conducts a variety of clinical studies (IIT studies, Phase I-III pharmaceutical studies, registry studies) in various areas of pediatrics, especially in the fields of pediatric diabetology, endocrinology, genetics, infectiology, intensive care medicine, neonatology, rheumatology, and metabolic medicine. We are looking for you to strengthen our well-coordinated team of study coordinators, research assistants, and data protection officers. In the long term, the management of this area is also to be filled.

Insight into your tasks:

• organizational management of studies in various specialized areas of the clinic, including contract reviews and financial plan calculations
• close and effective cooperation with principal investigators (m/f/d) and other members of the study team
• administration of study documents, study materials, and study medication
• documentation of study data
• care of study patients (incl. blood sampling, application of infusions/injections, vital signs measurement, ECG, interviewing)
• sample preparation and sample shipment
• support of monitoring by representatives of sponsors or regulatory authorities
• assumption of coordination tasks

Your profile:

• completed training in a medical assistant profession, preferably in nursing and healthcare
• professional experience with clinical studies is desirable
• knowledge of data protection in clinical studies is desirable
• confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• good English skills in speaking and writing
• interest in and willingness to learn new areas of responsibility
• an organized, independent, and team-oriented personality with a sense for structured, result-oriented work and good communication skills

The position is to be filled in part-time or full-time (at least 50%) initially for a fixed term of 2 years with the option of extension.
