The Clinic for Cardiology and Angiology is looking for a motivated and responsible

Research Physician (m/f/d)

to strengthen our dedicated team as of 01.09.2026.

Our angiological department participates in several national and international studies annually. You will participate in the planning, organization, and implementation of innovative clinical studies with a focus on interventional vascular medicine and medical device research.

Insight into your tasks:

• medical briefing and care of study participants within the framework of clinical studies with a focus on interventional vascular medicine and medical device studies
• support for study coordination as well as study setup
• creation and maintenance of study-relevant documentation
• coordination of communication with ethics committees, data protection officers, contract management, authorities, and sponsors
• support in the organization and coordination of multicenter investigator-initiated studies (IITs)
• close cooperation with principal investigators, Study Nurses, as well as internal and external project partners

Your profile

• medical license (Approbation) as a physician
• interest in clinical research and scientific work
• a completed doctorate is desirable, but not a requirement
• very good English skills in speaking and writing
• structured, independent, and careful way of working
• organizational skills as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
• experience in conducting clinical studies according to ICH-GCP is desirable, but not a requirement

The position is to be filled with an employment scope of 50%, limited for 24 months.
