Pharmacist (m/f/d)

The Vergiftungs-Informations-Zentrale provides advice for approximately 33,000 acute poisonings per year. In addition to clinical toxicology, insights and knowledge are specifically provided in the fields of pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, emergency medicine, and intensive care medicine.

Insight into your tasks:

• advice regarding poisoning accidents and their follow-up observation
• answering questions regarding drug effects, case documentation, and case evaluation as a basis for further consultations
• review and evaluation of international specialist literature for queries regarding acute and chronic poisonings

Your profile:

• the position is suitable for pharmacists (m/f/d) with Approbation who seek a university-based activity with regular and flexible duty scheduling; consultations are partly carried out during on-call and shift duty
• interest and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with the interdisciplinary field of clinical toxicology
• professional experience in advising on adverse drug reactions and interactions
• very good knowledge of chemistry desired
• very good English skills in speaking and writing
• teamwork skills and very good communication skills

The position is to be filled part-time (min. 50% - up to 70%) and is initially limited to 2 years.
