In the role of Research Associate (f/m/d) Location: Institut für Geschichte, Theorie und Ethik der Medizin Working hours: 50% of the full collectively agreed working time (currently 38.5 hours/week) Fixed-term: initially for 2 years in consideration of the WissZeitVG, an extension is intended Start date: from 01.10.2026 Remuneration: EG 13 (TV-L)

Your tasks Project: In the TermiTE project (Terminology Training in Self-Study), together with the Audiovisuellen Medienzentrum der Medizinischen Fakultät Aachen, we are developing an app. On the one hand, as a freely available self-learning tool, and on the other, for the didactic further development of our Termi-course. The main task is the content conception as well as the creation and preparation of materials for this app. ✓ Evaluation of the use of the app among medical students ✓ Publication of the project results ✓ Conducting teaching sessions in Medical Terminology ✓ Participation in the tasks of the Institut in teaching and research

Your profile ✓ University degree in Medicine and/or in the Humanities (Master) ✓ Experience in teaching and research ✓ Good Latin and English skills (Level B2) ✓ Strong communication skills and social competence
