As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for planning, setting up, and conducting advanced tests on components related to gas turbine technology. You work in an environment where several testing methods and development projects are ongoing in parallel, creating great opportunities for learning, innovation, and technical deepening. Your days will be based at the laboratory in Finspång, where you will collaborate with colleagues in measurement technology, analysis, and product development. The role also has an international dimension as tests are conducted globally, and you will collaborate with teams and experts around the world.
Your tasks Plan, design, and conduct advanced tests for gas turbine-related components. Ensure high quality and reliability in measurements, test setups, and data collection. Analyze test results and contribute technical recommendations to the development organization. Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges, from analysis to practical implementation. Provide technical support to product development, production, and assembly. Drive improvement initiatives and develop new methods, working methods, and testing techniques. Take responsibility for the entire measurement chain, from planning and execution to analysis and reporting.
Requirements
Requirements University or engineering degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, energy technology, engineering physics, or another relevant field. Practical experience in testing activities, testing, or verification in a technical environment. Good technical understanding and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious Experience in measurement technology and data acquisition systems. Knowledge in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, or fluid dynamics. Experience from the energy, process, automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industry. Experience with analysis tools and handling large datasets. Interest in method development and technical innovation.
