For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now seeking a Project Expeditor for an assignment at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner within the energy sector, delivering advanced as well as sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment where development opportunities are many.

Initially, this is a consulting assignment of approximately 12 months via Unik Resurs with very good possibilities for extension.

We conduct continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled earlier than the application deadline.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Project Expeditor, you are dedicated to specific customer projects in our new production where you work as a sub-project manager from order start to customer delivery. You are responsible for transport-related issues where each project is unique and has special conditions regarding delivery terms, destination, customs handling, and general logistics concepts.

External contacts with, among others, suppliers, transport agents, customer representatives, etc., occur very frequently and are a natural part of the work, as well as internal contacts in a large number of interfaces.

The role also includes financial responsibility for all costs linked to the delivery. During the course of the projects, you will therefore carry out procurement, purchasing, and follow-up of the costs generated by delivery to the customer.

How You Will Make an Impact

Your sub-project management within the area of forwarding Your transport strategy in each respective project contributes to on-time delivery while meeting customer expectations. Your transport procurement, contract writing, and budget follow-up contribute to good financial control in the projects. Your contacts with customers, suppliers, and internal interfaces contribute to understanding how the delivery will be executed. Your planning and execution of correct transport documents contribute to compliance with laws and regulations while meeting the customer's requirements for documentation. Your ability to solve delivery problems during the course of the project contributes to customer satisfaction while limiting financial impact.

Your Profile

What You Bring

You have a relevant university education and/or several years of qualified experience in logistics, import/export. Experience with international transport and customs issues as well as contract writing is highly meritorious. Experience in project management of other resources is highly meritorious. You can communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is also a plus. As a person, you are driven by having varied work in a high-tempo project operation. You have a good ability to structure your work even in pressured situations. You are flexible and comfortable organizing and prioritizing in an efficient manner. You have a natural understanding of customer relations and collaboration with partners. In stressful situations, you are calm, demonstrate stability, and can handle rapid changes. You are an attentive team player who is direct and clear in your communication. We also see that you are self-driven and take responsibility for driving your processes forward. You have a desire and drive to develop.
