Skincare Packaging Sourcing Agent / Procurement Assistant

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Sourcing

• Identify and vet suitable suppliers on 1688.com, Alibaba, or directly from manufacturing clusters.
• Build and maintain a reliable network of factories specializing in glass bottles, pumps, magnetic caps, and surface finishing (spray painting, silk screening, hot stamping).

1. Negotiation & Quoting

• Send out RFQs (Requests for Quotations) to multiple suppliers.
• Compare prices, MOQs (Minimum Order Quantities), and lead times.
• Negotiate for the best tax-inclusive (VAT) pricing, including shipping costs to Ningbo port.

1. Order Management

• Follow up on sample development and mass production timelines.
• Coordinate between the factory and our team to ensure specifications (bottle + pump + cap + printing) are met exactly.

1. Quality Control & Logistics

• Arrange for product inspections (in-person or via video/photo verification).
• Confirm shipping details, packaging, and delivery schedules.

1. Communication

• Provide timely, clear updates in English/Chinese (whatever works best).
• Flag potential issues (delays, quality problems) early and propose solutions.

Yes, we urgently need to recruit a graduate based in Ningbo. Our suppliers are mainly distributed in Longgang, Xuzhou, Hebei, and other places. We need to go to China once every two months for inspections; of course, if the candidate wants to stay in China for a few days for leisure, that is also possible. The work schedule is five days a week. We mainly use LARK, WeChat, and Google Sheets for communication and collaboration.
