Call Center Sales Trainer
Unateus·Nigeria·roam-ng·published 10/19/2026 Your tasks
- Train new Sales Operators according to our existing training system.
- Explain and demonstrate real sales techniques: opening, probing, presentation, objection handling, closing, upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct practical exercises, role-plays, and knowledge checks.
- Listen to operators' calls and identify specific mistakes in their sales behavior.
- Give direct, actionable feedback and make the operator correct the mistake — not simply understand the feedback.
- Re-test operators after coaching and determine whether the skill has actually improved.
- Identify candidates who are not ready for live sales work and provide a clear, evidence-based recommendation.
- Work with Team Leaders and Call Center management on recurring performance gaps.
- Track training results and report what is actually happening: who passed, who failed, what skills are weak, and what improved.
Requirements
- Real experience training sales or call-center sales teams.
- Strong understanding of phone sales and customer psychology.
- Experience working with objections, closing, upselling, and conversion.
- The ability to demonstrate a sales technique yourself — not only explain it.
- Strong observation skills: you can hear a conversation and identify exactly where the sale was lost.
- The ability to give clear, direct feedback without humiliating people.
- The ability to distinguish between “the person understood the training” and “the person can actually sell.”
- Confidence to say that an operator is not ready when the evidence shows it.
- A results-oriented approach to training: training must change behavior and performance.
